Today is my friend Shawna's birthday. Not only is she a good friend but she is responsible for keeping my hair in check. Hence the hair related illustration that i did as a birthday card. Happy B-day Dude!
On another note I went to the American Illustration book launch party in New York last week.
It was an awesome event and the book looks amazing. I can't wait till I get a book in the mail.

This is the live painting we did at Bay and Bathurst station. the finishing touches. Jimmy, gettin down! kellen working his magic A couple days ago, Jim, Kellen, and myself got to install some of our work in the Bay and Bathurst subway station. It was lots of fun and i especially enjoyed throwing around some paint with the boys, during the live painting exhibit. If your heading that way take a peek.
Super huge thanks to Jamie, Nawfal, and Hannah for helping us out with the show.
I spent the last couple days working on this little zine. it was for class but I kept working on it after it was evaluated just trying to make it a bit better. I had a lot of fun making this thing but I am most happy about the way the cover turned out. I'm thinking that I might try to produce more copies of this zine but there are still few kinks that I need to work out. I'll post the actual content of the comic in the upcoming week, so check back for that.
I re-printed a few of these guys for some friends and their new place. It reminded me that water colors are fun and I should get around to do a few more of them. If any one is keen on a print just gimmie a shout!
